First up is Ruairi Molloy, ERP Business Development Manager, who is passionate about seeing results for his clients and making a positive impact on their business. 
What did your journey to Hybrid TP look like?
I’ve worked in the business development field for most of my career with companies like Mars Ireland, GSK and Philips before joining Hybrid TP. I qualified with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and worked in hospitality procurement after leaving college.
Tell us a little about your current position with Hybrid TP.
My role in Hybrid TP is promoting and selling ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). If you can imagine a business using paper and pen to run their day-to-day activities, they may also use Excel/Word for quotes or tracking time or materials. All the separate areas of the business have paper processes, but they are all individual and not linked together.
ERP is one integrated piece of software where all the information and data from a business is in the one place. For example, a business using ERP software will have live data on jobs, sales, materials/stock, HR, Finance, manufacturing, distribution, reps or engineers on the road, CRM etc. Each employee will have their own login with the relevant information to hand.
What does your current client base look like? Are there any growing trends in IT?
I currently work with small to medium size businesses mainly in the engineering and manufacturing space. We speak with a lot of companies who are looking to move into more digital modern workflows and move away from double data entry and pen and paper.
Why do you do what you do? What excites you about work? Are there certain projects you love working on?
It is a great feeling when you can streamline a business’s processes using technology and give people back their time. I find it really interesting getting to understand how different companies work. What excites me is when I see how our software can have a positive impact on their business. That’s the most rewarding and motivating part of the job.
What’s your favourite memory from working with Hybrid to date?
There’s so many I couldn’t pick just one. Hybrid TP is a really positive place to work. We work hard together as a team and genuinely all care about our clients. The banter among all of the team working at Hybrid is second to none.
How do you switch off from work? What are your hobbies and interests?
I have two kids, Ollie (6) and Conor (1) and we’re in the middle of building a house so I don’t have much time for hobbies at the moment. I love spending time outdoors, keeping fit and walking the dog. I’m also a beginner beekeeper. To switch off I like to watch sports or have a barbeque with our friends.
