When Microsoft Office was first offered to the public in early 2011 in the face of growing competition from similar services like Google Apps. Microsoft banked on enticing its already existing software customers into its open cloud solution. The cloud based business productivity service has gone from strength to strength since its launch back then. Office 365 offers an impressive saving for those with the need for the productivity software on multiple computers. According to Time Magazine paying for five copies of the the suite would cost you €512. You could use Office 365 on those five machines through 2019 for that price, and you’d be entitled to all the upgrades that came along. And if you bought five shrinkwrapped copies of Office Professional — the version most comparable to Office 365 Home Premium — you’d owe Microsoft €1,465, which is enough to pay for twenty years’ worth of Office 365.

If your enterprise is bigger however the problem of deployment can be a major headache and this problem is now being met head on by Microsoft.

According to Juan Carlos Perez, from the IDG News Service, new Office 365 customers* who buy at least 150 seats of the online apps suite will get deployment help from Microsoft at no additional charge. The move is intended to sweeten the deal for prospective buyers by offering assistance with provisioning and configuring the Office 365 components, which include Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Lync Online, Office 365 Pro Plus and Yammer, Microsoft said Wednesday.
“We will ensure that the Office 365 service is provisioned and ready for use in your organisation,” says a blog post announcing the Office 365 FastTrack Onboarding Centre services.
